Antecedentes personales e identidad

¿Dónde creciste y cómo tu ciudad natal ha influido en lo que eres?

Crecí en Karlslunde, un pequeño pueblo a las afueras de Copenhague. Pueblo tranquilo, en una zona encantadora donde vive la mayoría de mi familia. Tengo la escuela y los amigos cercanos, lo cual es importante para mí.

¿Cuál dirías que es el evento o momento más importante de tu vida que dio forma a lo que eres hoy?

Mi victoria en el Mundial de Hamell 2013.

Riding Preferences

Do you have a favorite trail or terrain? What makes it special to you?

I love riding the local mountain bike trails around home when I’m home. I started Mountainbiking at those trails, so it feels great to be riding them still 15 years after.

When did you first realize that mountain biking was more than just a hobby for you?

I realized Mountainbiking was more than just a hobby for me when I got my first contract with a team back in 2013. A local Danish team but with a high level. 2013 I won a junior worldcup in Norway and that really kickstarted my career. In 2016 I signed my first international contract.

¿Tienes un ritual antes o después de la carrera que sea importante para ti?

Antes de montar, siempre tomo un espresso doble y una vez que termino de montar / entrenar, empiezo a preparar el almuerzo para obtener algo de combustible lo más rápido posible.

Antes de correr siempre cierro los ojos, respiro hondo unas cuantas veces y trato de visualizar el inicio de la carrera.

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de la cultura y la comunidad de MTB?

Se siente como una familia, la mayoría de los pilotos tienen una gran relación y podemos divertirnos, montar y tomar un café entre equipos y nacionalidades.

Personal Story & Goals

Looking ahead, what’s one goal you have for your riding career or personal life?

My goal for the future is to be back riding in the front of the world cups, back on podium and winning smaller races every year. I truly believe I can do it and I to have this teams support is so important for me.

Lifestyle & Hobbies

When you’re not riding, how do you like to spend your time?

I like to see my friends, love making food and I spend a lot of time in my kitchen everyday. Relaxing, saune, swimming in the ocean and have fun.

Dreams & Imagination

If you weren’t a pro rider, is there another career that you think you’d pursue?

I have a dream of being a carpenter and to be making cool wooden stuff for the house, one day when my racing career is over.
